The Deputy Minister of Science, Research & Technology for Technology and Innovation who is also the chairman of the Governing Board of the UNESCO Regional Center for Technology Incubator & Science Park Development (IRIS) located in Isfahan, appointed the new director for the center.

Dr. Mohammad Nabi Shahiki Tash, Deputy Minister of SRT for Technology and Innovation, has appointed Mozhgan Yazdianpour as the Director of IRIS. The appointment recognizes her extensive experience in international science and technology park affairs and her long-standing contributions to IRIS since its establishment. 

IRIS operates as a UNESCO Category 2 Center, backed by Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), which serves as its host organization. The center focuses on promoting technology transfer, providing training and consultancy, organizing capacity-building programs, and facilitating experience exchange among developing countries to support the development and strengthening of science and technology parks (STPs) and incubators.
