ASPA delegates visited the successful STPs in the Philippines
On Jan 24, the ASPA delegates including Secretary-General Sunkook Kwon, Director Young-Ho Nam and Researcher So Young Park visited the Science Park of the Philippines, Inc which is one of the biggest science parks in the Philippines.
This meeting was arranged after the one-month preparation by communicating with Jeronimo M. Salonga who is the senior manager of SPPI and was done successfully with the introduction presentations of the both sides and the technical tour of SPPI.
It was a great opportunity for ASPA to make a tour of inspection and broaden the relationship and future co-operation in the Philippines which is the non-ASPA membership country at the moment.
After this meeting, we were so lucky to visit another successful technopark of the Philippines which is Laguna Technopark. It was definitely the valuable time to know the history and the latest developments of Laguna Technopark. Thanks to their kindness, we could be introduced to Ayala Land, the Philippines’ leading real estate developer and the partnership organization with Laguna Technopark as well.
We sincerely appreciate their warm hospitality and hope to continue this great relationship not only this time but also in the near future.
